• Is Spreading Joy Corp a registered Charity?
  Yes. We are an IRS approved 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization.   I will be happy to email a copy of our certification to anyone who would require it.

•  How can I make a donation?
  Simply click on the PayPal button to make a donation quickly, easily and securely. If you’d like to mail a donation, please email me for a mailing address.

• Is my donation tax deductible?
  Yes, to the full extent as allowed by the IRS.

• Can I get a receipt of my donation? What paper work do I need for the tax write off?
  You will receive a letter with our Tax ID included to attach with your Paypal donation receipt.

• Do I have to type a special code to make sure my donations are specific?
  As we tend to have several events and support various things, we do have different buttons.  The main Spreading Joy page has a general donation button.  Used for support of any ministry of Spreading Joy, including administrative needs. Then we have the Worldprayr button that is used for those who wants to help support this ministry. Lastly we have the #NYOF button that will be used for specific needs for the New Year of Hope as well. If you are uncertain, please include a note as to where you want the funds directed and we will make sure they are designated as such.

• What is #NYOH?
  New Year Of Hope (#NYOH) will be used for current projects that Spreading Joy is honored to be a part of.  Our current project is for Dwayne Reaves and his nine year old daughter Diana.  We invite you to be a part of this New Year Miracle by clicking here, reading about the current challenge and then following your heart to help.

•  Can my donation be made anonymously?
  All amounts are kept confidential. With the various events, I’d love to be able to say thank you if you’d allow me to, just by listing your twitter name or listing you as a Spreading Joy Hero.  If you’d prefer me not to do that, please let me know in the notes of the PayPal section or if you mail your donation in, let me know in writing. Also, please include your twitter name in the notes section.

• Are 100 % of the proceeds of the current #NYOH project going to the recipient?
  Yes, less any paypal fees. Spreading Joy Corporation is donating all time and other administrative fees such as stamps, paper, printing of letters and receipts. The button on “It’s a Wonderful Life” page is specific to #NYOH ensuring that all donations are designated to the current #NYOH project. If you’d like to donate towards the administrative fees, click here to make a general donation.

• I am interested in helping the current #NYOH recipient in other ways – how can I contact you?
  Please email me any ideas, helps or other information you think will benefit the recipient.  We would love to connect them with various resources in the area that will enable them continue to rise above their current situation.

• I read about the work Spreading Joy Corporation is doing and I want to donate or help with other events. How do I do that?
   We are looking for financial support that will help cover the expenses of the administrative needs as well as various projects.  These monthly, quarterly or annual gifts will allow us to continue seeking out ways of spreading joy to those who need it most.  We are always collecting toys for Christmas or Gift Cards in increments of $10.00 to McDonalds, Wal-Mart or other popular places.  The gift cards will be used as Christmas Gifts for teenagers, as they tend to be harder to buy for.  Spreading the word about Spreading Joy! Word of mouth speaks volumes, so when you tell others about Spreading Joy Corporation, be it by Twitter or other social media sites or direct others to our website encouraging their help/support, you are helping us to grow and expand our reach, which will allow us to do more for others.

• What is the 30 Day Challenge?
  We realize that developing great habits takes repetition and this will challenge you to be someone who is actively spreading joy daily.  Taking the 30 day challenge, looking for ways of spreading joy each day will have you looking at spreading joy and doing things for others in a new way.  You’ll be looking for different acts of joy that you can do for others each day, thus creating a wonderful new habit of giving…on purpose!  The wonderful thing about this challenge is that YOU, the giver, will be splashed with amazing joy while you are spreading joy to others.  This is a no lose situation, everyone wins!!  We even help you get started quickly by giving you ideas to get you going.  Our hope is that once you’ve finished your 30 days of spreading joy that you’ll just keep spreading joy each and every day!
